Occupational Allergies
Occupational allergies often manifest themselves as skin reactions (eczema, skin redness, urticaria) or in the airways (chronic infections, nasal congestion, coughing, shortness of breath). The triggering allergens range from flour, latex and cement to hair dye and food. Often similar symptoms also arise from a non-allergic irritation to certain substances, from frequent water contact or as a result of working in a humid surrounding. Personal consultation, individual testing and extensive information and guidance are all of great importance.
