Head and Neck Trauma

Depending on the severity and type of trauma, several organs in the head and neck can be affected. Usually initial evaluation and treatment is done at an emergency room. If surgery is necessary, it can be done for minor injuries in the practice on an outpatient basis, but is done in the hospital in more severe cases.
