Blocked, Dry or Runny Nose
These nose symptoms can have anatomical causes or they can be a sign of a chronic inflammation of the nasal mucosa, or a combination of both. Allergies may play a role, but often they do not. Very often there are various factors causing these symptoms, very often including the sinus.Apart from local nonsurgical therapies, surgical therapies are sometimes recommended to optimize the local treatment. Some patients with chronic rhinosinusitis also have problems in their lower airways such as asthma. The interdisciplinary care of such patients with allergy evaluation is a main focus of our practice.
