Sublingual Immunotherapy

The injections of the immunotherapy (desensitization or hyposensitization) can be replaced by a sublingual therapy where the solution or tablet is placed daily under the tongue and then swallowed.

This home therapy requires self-discipline. Like the classic immunotherapy using injections, this treatment must also be administered for three to five years and can be done with pollen and house dust mites.

After a careful evaluation and personal consultation, you have to decide which therapy would be the best for you or your child. The costs of the solutions with pollen and house dust mites are covered by the health insurance.
