Vocal Fold Paresis

Voice changes may be caused by a vocal fold paresis.

Besides voice therapy sometimes an augmentation of the paralyzed vocal fold may improve voice quality. In certain cases the injection can be performed through the skin under endoscopic guidance in local anesthesia in the office. Initially transient injectables are used.
